To showcase the traditional fisherman’s culture and their cult ceremonies to their God, Chu Tai Sin, the Maritime Museum organized a temporary exhibition in Lisbon, Portugal, where visitors were guided through the history and the different phases of the cult ceremonies.
The success of the exhibition was evident in the number of invitations from international museums to host the exhibition.
Project includes space design, creative concept, design and production guidelines, lighting, information and promotional materials.
The exhibition was designed for Portuguese audiences, but being a Chinese cult, we also printed the Chinese language, for authenticity purposes.
Large image panels were combined with real artefacts used during the ceremonies.
The exhibition was designed in a story tell manner, so that visitors would better understand the sequence in which the cult ceremonies were conducted.
