To showcase the traditional fisherman’s culture and their cult ceremonies performed for their God, Chu Tai Sin, the Maritime Museum organized a temporary exhibition where visitors were guided through the history and the different phases of the ceremony.
The exhibition included large panels with photos of the fishermen during the Chu Tai Sin ceremonies and a number of artifacts used in these ceremonies.
With a restricted budget for the exhibition, we made use of a number of creative design and lighting solutions that added a "theatrical" and dramatic effect to the exhibition, which also assisted in "hiding" some of the lower cost materials.
The success of the exhibition was evident in the number of invitations from international museums interested to host this exhibition.
Project includes space design, creative concept, design and production, lighting, information and promotional materials.
